International students, visitors, interns or executives who come to London for a short period of time (1 to 12 months) will appreciate the friendly and outstanding personal service of Sara’s London Homestay.

London’s transport system is divided into zones – 1 to 6 – largely related to the distance from Central London.

Most Homestays will be in family neighbourhoods within zones 2 – 4, with travelling time from 25 minutes to 55 minutes to Central London, dependent on which zone you are in. See photos of London.

Prices include a single occupancy, well furnished room with a shared bathroom. Facilities for light cooking are also included. These prices include continental breakfast only. Homes have been selected where the host is happy to make you “one of the family”. Sara’s Homestay London will also remain in touch with the student during their stay.

COMPUTER INTERFACES

All homes have power points in the room for computer usage.

Most homes will have modem access for emailing (by agreement with the family).

“MEET AND GREET” SERVICE

We will provide a “meet and greet” service for students who require it. A named driver will meet you and drive you to your host family. We will give you an orientation tour in your area, normally within 24 hours of arrival.

The cost of meeting a student at Heathrow Airport will be £60, from Gatwick Airport £100. We should point out that all direct flights from Japan arrive at Heathrow.
